The Star Club

I saw this band live supporting The Johnnys back in the 80s, Japanese punk bands are always good for a bit of fun, although this reviewer didn't think so.

Still going after all these years. I tracked down a couple of sites for them here and here.

1986.

  2. They were fun! Thanks for sharing these articles brings it all back! I used to collect these things too but kept them in a cupboard in the garage until we had that really wet year in about 88 or 89 and the garage was flooded and lost all this type of memorabilia...

  3. I used to buy all the music papers back in the late 70s and early 80s, everything from RAM, Roadrunner, NME, Record Mirror and pretty much everything I could get my hands on really. It was the only way to find out about the "new music" that was coming out. So a few years ago when I was culling loads of crap I came across them and decided to scan them all and post them before they went in the bin. I also came across a big pile of my wife's old music mags too, so I'm fleecing them for stuff as well. It's good to see others interested in reading it all. I've slowed down in my posts lately but I'm hoping to pick it up again soon... so keep watching this space.

    Cheers
